Interested in joining the St. John's family?

Anyone is welcome in this faith community to join us in the mission and ministry of St. John's Methodist Church.  If you are looking for a church home St. John's provides you the opportunity to participate in worship, service, faith forming relationships and ministries that can make a difference in our community and world.

How to Join / We Welcome You By:

·       Profession of Faith and Baptism - A person who begins the Christian life does so through baptism which is a symbol of God's grace through Jesus Christ.  For an adult this is when God acts in your life to start a new life of faith, commitment and covenant with God.

·       Transfer from another Methodist Church - Are you a member of another Methodist Church?  If so and you wish to move your membership to St. John's we will joyfully welcome you through a letter of transfer.

·       Transfer from another Christian denomination - We recognize your previous baptism and transfer your membership from your denomination.

·       Confirmation Class - Classes are given to help prepare and educate you on what it means to be a Christian and member of the Global Methodist Church. In Confirmation, those who have been baptized declare their faith in Christ and are Strengthened by the Holy Spirit for continuing discipleship. Confirmation reminds us that we are baptized and that God continues to be at work in our lives: we respond by affirming that we belong to Christ and to the whole People of God. At a Service of Confirmation, baptized Christians are also received into membership of the Global Methodist Church and take their place as such in our congregation.
