USE OF BUILDINGS
1. Only organizations that do not conflict with the principles of St. John’s Methodist Church shall be allowed usage of the church facilities.
2. The following fees shall be charged all church-sponsored meetings using the facilities of St. John’s (any meeting which is served with a meal by a church group is to be considered as church-sponsored.).

There will be a $500 rental fee for any non-church sponsored meeting and $100 clean up fee and each group must have $1,000,000 in liability insurance and $500,000 in medical insurance. Revised Sept 2007
3. Use of Church property or equipment elsewhere than within the church facilities is strictly prohibited. Any question regarding these matters will be referred to the Board of Trustees Chairperson.
4. Any group of minors using the facilities must have responsible adult supervision present during the activities. When an activity is scheduled the church office must be advised of the supervising adult or adults who will be in charge.
5. Permission must be granted by the Trustees and must be put on calendar in the church office for use of the church facilities; and at the time such permission is granted, an agreement will be reached in writing as to which facilities will be used and the fee thereof, as outlined in paragraph two above. If any fees are required, these fees must be paid prior to the use of the facilities.

· All persons, organizations, Scouts, etc. that are not charged for using church facilities will be expected to leave the church property arranged as found and in clean and immediately reusable condition. Each group using the facilities shall notify the church office of the person who will be responsible for compliance with the requirements of this paragraph.
8. The Board of Trustees and/or Pastor will decide any time-dependent matters not covered by specific policy and/or requiring the approval of the Church Council.
